On Sunday, the 17th of October, 2010, my sister finally said 'I do!' to her dear husband in front our minister.
We started the day by getting Antoanela dressed and ready to welcome her side of the guests. Then we've anxiously awaited her husband's arrival.
After that, I had the pleasure of driving my sister to the church in a lovely red car.
Once there, everybody's heads turned to see us when we got out of the car.
Initially, they've all mistaken me for the groom. But we've soon cleared that out once he arrived. :)
And, even though he doesn't show it, my father was terribly happy and proud to give his daughter away.
After the religious service, we've headed down to the La Rousse
restaurant to welcome the guests at the reception.
We didn't stay there very long because we had to go the Baroque Palace
for our professional photo shoot.
After the shoot we returned to the restaurant to get the party started. And we stayed there until midnight, dancing and eating good food (the cake was especially delicious).
So, on behalf of the now enlarged Velciov family, I thank you all for your presence. You were the life of the party!
P.S. My thanks also go out to Soso
for their media services and to the DJ for keeping the dance floor busy at all times.
